Bluebirds finish Runners-Up in Petersfield Tournament

The U10 Bluebirds finished the 2017/18 season at the Petersfield Tournament. The 8 players joined 2400 boys and girls across age groups and from teams across the South East of England in one of the regions largest tournaments. The team quickly picked up the good form of previous weeks, winning their group. A 2-0 semi final win saw them progress to the final. A high quality end to end game finished goal-less after extra time. With both keepers making great saves the penalties were on a knife edge and went to sudden death where the Bluebirds were unfortunate to lose.

The Runner-Up prizes were a great way for the Bluebirds to finish the year and capped a successful run at summer tournaments – W13 D7 L1 with only one goal conceded (excluding penalty shoot-outs)
