Appointment of New Chairman

Fleet Town Girls & Ladies Fc committee are pleased to announce Peter Collins as new Chairman of Fleet Town Girls and Ladies Fc.
Peter has worked full-time as a football coach, and whilst stepping away from the industry on a professional basis, he has been Managing and coaching our u15 Reds.
As a youngster, Peter played for a grassroots club in Fleet and appreciated the level of organisation that went into the team. He is now in a position and would like to assist young players into having the same experience that was afforded to him.
Peter is a highly organised and focused person who will bring enormous energy to the role.
Peters main focus for the football club is to maximise the number of girls and ladies who are able to play football at a level suitable to their skill, to over the next 3-5 years to be able to increase the number of teams to cover all age groups. At the moment, the club is the largest provider of ladies football in the area and he strongly believes that is something that must be maintained, especially at the younger age groups.
Peters vision for the club is to see the club having teams at every age group from U16 down. Aim to have each of these teams coached by a level 2 coach as a minimum. To have a senior and a reserve squad for the ladies Adult section, to give players a team to work towards, after they have finished their youth football.
The committee welcome Peter in his new roll as Chairman and look forward to working with him.
